Summary: This is Jin and Yamapi’s first Christmas together as a couple and Jin wants his gift to be special… in all that it entails.
Warning: Seeing as how this is a gift for my beta, linnjay, this has not been beta'd... Gomen.
A/N: This is a Christmas present for linnjay… and therefore, also an indirect present for ChangBang. All I was told was to make her smile this Christmas. This was the result. *waves* Hope it’s good enough! Comments always appreciated! ^-^

[December 19, 2007]

 

He sighed heavily as he walked down the corridor towards the row of dance studios.  It was his first day off since god knows when and he was here at the Jimusho.  He sighed again, wondering if he should have told Jin to just meet him at the restaurant.

Bowing his head slightly as he entered the one KAT-TUN was using, his face scrunched in confusion.  The choreographer was still there and it was already 6.  Most choreographers ended rehearsal by 5 so the performers could have time to practice more.

Then he realized why.

The choreography wasn’t difficult, but the members of KAT-TUN weren’t getting it.  It was like they’d collectively decided that they didn’t want to be there and that goofing off was a much better use of their time.

Yamapi was seriously starting to feel sorry for the choreographer.  He was just standing in the front, dragging a hand down his face.

“Guys!  You’re not going anywhere until you do this right,” he told them, watching as Jin jumped onto Nakamaru’s back.  “Guys!  Seriously!”

Kame was pointing and laughing while Junno and Koki joked around, seeing who’s back flip got better elevation.  Ueda stood on the side, wondering what he’d done in a previous life that caused him to have been placed in a group with such idiotic people.

For the first time, the choreographer noticed he was there.  A little annoyed to have this so called rehearsal have even one more distraction, he said, “Yamashita-kun?  Can I do something for you?”

Everyone turned in his direction.

“Ah.  Sumimasen…”

He chose to wait for Jin in the NewS dressing room.  It was kind of painful watching his boyfriend and his band mates act so incredibly baka.

He pulled out his cell.

          Hey.  I’m in my dressing room.
     Let me know when you finish…
     lol…  I don’t know how you guys
     finish anything.
         See you soon… hopefully.

An hour later, Yamapi really had no idea why he was at karaoke with not only Jin, but the rest of KAT-TUN in tow.  Don’t get him wrong…  Yamapi thought of all of them as friends, but he’d wanted tonight to be just him and Jin.

When his baka (and oblivious) boyfriend and his bakatare friends pulled or pushed him to the mike he just laughed and decided to make the best of it.

He really hadn’t been to karaoke in a long time either.

A/N:  So Day 7 may be a day late...  I have work until 11:30pm and since I'm in Hawaii, I'm in the last timezone...  So yeah.  Gomen.

^^ I know... I wouldn't mind being with all of the KAT-TUN members, but I don't know how long I'd last. I think I'm too grumpy for them. XP

I don't know if its a sad thing..but I can imagine the entire group just choosing to goof off instead of learning a dance. xDD
And they aren't all idiotic all the time..just some of the time. xDD

And karaoke with the entire group...I wouldn't complain, but I do get that Pi wanted to be alone with Jin.

Honestly? So far, this is my least favorite chapter. Took forever and a day to figure out what about KAT-TUN was gonna happen, and then by the time I finished writing it, I still didn't like it. Re-wrote it 3 times already.
