Summary: This is Jin and Yamapi’s first Christmas together as a couple and Jin wants his gift to be special… in all that it entails.
Warning: Seeing as how this is a gift for my beta, linnjay, this has not been beta'd... Gomen.
A/N: This is a Christmas present for linnjay… and therefore, also an indirect present for ChangBang. All I was told was to make her smile this Christmas. This was the result. *waves* Hope it’s good enough! Comments always appreciated! ^-^

[December 17, 2007]

“Konnichiwa,” he murmured, bowing slightly to the choreographer. Today he was going to start rehearsals for his new solo song. He looked around the dance studio as he put his bag down near one of the mirrors.

Catching the confusing look on his face, the choreographer answered his silent question. “They’re not here yet, but if they aren’t here soon…” ‘They’ meaning the four members of ABC who were the backup dancers chosen for his solo performances.

Yamapi glanced at the clock. “Hmmm…. They’re late…”

15 minutes later, they still weren’t there, and the choreographer sent out one of the assistants to go look for the four boys. By the time she returned, Yamapi had already learned the entire first verse of choreography and was moving on to the chorus.

“Um…” she said very hesitantly. “I don’t think they’re going to make it to rehearsal today.”

“What?” the choreographer asked flatly.

“It was difficult to figure out the situation through all the chaos,” she said, flustered. “But from what I could gather… Akanishi-san baked some cookies for the four boys. He said he wanted to do something nice for them so that they’d do their best for Yamashita-san, but um, as it turns out, they, uh, got food poisoning.”

“You’re kidding right.”

“I’m afraid not.”

The thought of the four either on the toilet or face first in one was not the most charming image. Well, without the backup dancers, there really wasn’t much point in continuing rehearsal. If Yamapi hadn’t known that Jin really did love him, he would have started to think that he was actually out to get him or something.

And I repeat... the Baka is a disgrace to the kitchen. :sigh: thoes poor poor cookies. btw... i'm baking the peanut butter ones tomorrow.
