Here are some notes from last night's concert. They're really more for my reference than anything else and are not in the greatest of order, but if you'd like, feel free to read. Kitayama fell off the stage so the first part is really just about that.
We were 4th row Arena on the right hand side of the stage.
- Kitayama fell off the stage and no matter how much I want to be able to joke about it because HE'S OK... I'm not at that point yet. I want to be, but I'm not. During Kisumai's corner, they performed Inori and Fire Beat in the green outfits from the EbiKisu cons (thank god, cause apparently they wore the Shooting Stars ones with the horrible scarves once last week). They did Inori and then KaT-TUN came back out for Fire Beat. Kame joins Kitayama's opening rap and the face each other, Kitayama walking backwards. Well. All of a sudden Kitayama just drops from sight and you clearly hear the sound of the mic hitting the ground.
Kame and Fujigaya move to stand at the edge of the stage, looking down, and the rest of the members are gathered towards that part of the stage, but I don't think they could actually see anything. Rachel and Bethany are telling me that they stopped singing, and I'm sure they would, but I don't remember because my heart just stopped. They continued the song and Bethany said that Fujigaya covered the rest of Kitayama's parts, but I don't remember. I spent the rest of the song, looking at each of their faces, trying to gauge how panicked I should really be based on how worried THEY were. Senga and Miyata were clearly worried. Tamamori and Yokoo when they came to our side of the stage didn't look as worried, but they weren't into the song either.
At some point, Kame must have left the stage 'cause at the end of the song, he brought Kitayama back out and pushed him to the front. Kitayama, in his normal manner, shouted his apologies to Tokyo Dome for falling off the stage. When they asked him about it he was like, 「テンションが上げちゃって、もうステージなかった。(笑)」("I got too excited and all of a sudden, there was no more stage behind me.")
When they came back out again (in Army Park clothing, YAY), after about 5 seconds it was clear that he was definitely not injured (no limping, no visual signs of his fall), which was a huge relief. I'm glad he's ok and I'm glad that there's no way in hell any of the other members will EVER let him forget this. I'd prefer this never, ever happened again and if it takes Kitayama getting teased the hell out of, then I'm ok with that.
I was at the Kobe concert that Miyata got hurt at. I watched as Tamamori skated right off the stage in Fukuoka. They did the second half of the Kobe concert without Miyata and only recently did they talk about what actually happened. Tamamori... well. He was gone for a little bit, but I'm sure it was so he could flail in embarrassment before getting back on stage, but he hobbled around for a bit with a look on his face that told us that he was hurting. Kitayama didn't get back on stage right away... and I felt horribly sick until he came back out because I remembered the Kobe con. Quite honestly, I still feel a little sick because he could have so easily gotten injured. I want that image of him just dropping from sight, sound of mic hitting the floor out of my head asap.
- I clawed Rachel. We both jumped for streamers, and I don't remember hitting her, but she's got the cut to prove it on the back of her hand. There was blood. I feel really bad. SORRY!!! m(__)m She's still sleeping, but here's a picture.

And yes, we both got streamers.
MC
- Ok. I thought this was the best MC I've seen KaT-TUN do (Rachel and Bethany disagree). The BtR concert I saw last year in Kyocera Dome was terrible. They had a list of things they needed to promote and they basically did that and only that. I prefer conversations. I like seeing that they get along and that MC's are not the only times they communicate to each other. There was no awkwardness between them and that was a first for me in terms of KaT-TUN.
- By the way, Junno's really nice. They originally sat on the main stage, but then someone (staff or audience, not sure) told them that we couldn't see them, so they should move forward. A few minutes later, Junno suggested they move back a little cause now the lighting was in the faces of the first few rows of the audience. In the end, they didn't move, but the fact that he even noticed, plus points for Junno.
- Kame dropped his mic and Nakamaru told on him. Kame was taking off his vest/coat thing and dropped the mic in the process. When Nakamaru handed it back to him, Kame immediately was like, "Staff-san, I did NOT drop the mic." and was shaking his head. It was cute. They then started talking about how expensive the mics were and Junno cuts in to say something... but it was kinda pointless so he tried to save himself by talking about how the mics have their names on them and his says, "JUNNO". Fail Junno, as always.
- They talked about how Koki's current hair suits him and is manly and that he looks better without the beard. Apparently, he grows it out in his private time so when he comes in and has to shave it, he uses something that gets it all over the place? I don't know that much about men's shaving equipment, but they were definitely like, "It gets long. He shaves it in the dressing room. It gets all over the place. It's gross."
- They talked about how Ueda will always ask Koki to take a bath with him. Ueda tries to defend himself by saying that it's because the bath at Tokyo Dome is really big and that Koki's the only one who will go with him when he asks. The others tell him that it's because he goes too early. And Koki's like, "Ueda... you 're the type that gets lonely?" Apperently, Ueda goes EXACTLY 1 hour before the show starts and all of them have exact times that they go... separately. haha... And then Koki (or Kame, but I think it was Koki) said that they went in, all of Kisumai were in there. Kame talked about how it's usually just him and Nakamaru that take showers after the show, but Nakamaru's a total girl and is all like, "Don't look at me! Kame, don't look!" And Kame's just like, "I'M NOT LOOKING!" And I guess that if there are other people in the baths, Nakamaru will walk in with a t-shirt and shorts, and just bend over to try to wash his hair. Then Ueda asked why it is that no matter what, they talk about bathing when they're at Tokyo Dome.
- Nika stood up for himself a little today. He sorta had a shouting match with Kame over the Kis-My-Ft"2" thing and Kame just wouldn't drop it, so Nika said things back. It was pretty funny though cause Kame was walking towards him, so as Nika fought back, he was taking steps back as he said them. haha... Put space between you guys. Good plan Nika. haha... At one point, he was just like, "If you wanna get rid of the '2' so badly, take it up with Johnny!"
- Kis-My-Ft2 PHOTOBOOK! Kitayama was like, "We have something we'd like to announce for the first time...." KaT-TUN talked about how they did theirs in New York, but Kisumai didn't know anymore details other than the fact that they were getting a photobook. Sometime in fall. I'm excited. :D
- At one point, Miyata was talking about how in the back they were talking about how interesting the MC was, but how the least interesting one was Junno. Someone pointed out to him in the back that he was very much like Junno and Miyata said that his excitement dropped. haha... It's ok Miyata. We still appreciate you.
- Tamamori's fun to watch. He doesn't really walk around the walkways like the others do... it's more like dancing. And at one point, Yokoo was coming from the opposite direction and tried to mimic what Tamamori was doing with his hands. He also does a lot of things that are written on uchiwa. I can see how he'd get fans at concerts. Also in relation to Tama, Rachel thinks his hair's darker and fixed up a bit (not a CUT, but re-shaped). I wasn't there last week, but it's definitely a solid brown now as compared to the blonde he had before.
- UEDA'S SOLO. I absolutely loved it. I want tickets to his solo con. I said I wasn't, but I want.
- Towards the very beginning of the concert, Kisumai was going up the stairs to the upper platform of the main stage, while KaT-TUN was coming down and Kame reached out and ruffled Nika's hair. It was cute.
- There were a few NiSen moments that were just really cute. At one point, they were both about to pass us. They just looked at each other and all of a sudden started running so that they could POUNCE on TamaMiya who were standing on the main stage. No words needed. Shared brain. There was also another time when they were running to get to main stage ('cause that's where they were supposed to be) and Senga looked back at Nika, slowing down a little, but then Nika was just like GO GO! pointing forward, indicating that Senga needed to keep moving, fast.
- Yokoo did the shaka. A little awkwardly the first time and then properly. Yay.
- Koki Solo. Girl is gone and I'm told this was MUCH NEEDED improvement. Ueda got to keep his girls, but Koki did not. Kitayama and Senga danced with him and I'm sure the dance was supposed to be hot, but there's this part where they kinda move their butts and I think it's funny. Ah well. Oh. And at the end, they pull this sheet over Koki's bed thing and when it clears the bed, Junno is in bed with Koki, arm around the shoulder. haha...
- Fujigaya hit Senga in the stomach as he walked past him, tried to do something to Tama, but didn't cause Tama was actually paying attention. He also tried to hit Nika in the head but Nika ducked.
- There were a ton of Kisumai fans around us. ^_^ (and a boy Koki fan behind us who had no idea what to do with Kame's solo. haha...)
- Kame's solo... HOT. Senga's head dangling off the edge of the stage while Kame straddles him to bite him? HOT.
- I really liked Nakamaru's solo Film. I never noticed that he writes the lyrics to his solos. *thumbs up* And as always, impressed by the beat boxing.
- COSTUMES I REMEMBER SEEING - Kis-My-LAND outfits, Shooting Stars outfits, green EbiKisu ones, Army Park ones, dark blue ones that they used for November 2007 Endless Road, the gold ones from the opening of the EbiKisu cons, the Eien no Ticket ones. They also wore suit stuff for some of the songs. Rachel is telling me that they change which costumes they wear with each concert.

I missed some grinding, so Rachel's written about it here.

Date: 2010-07-25 07:28 am (UTC)When Kitayama fell off the stage I think everyone's heart stopped. I was soooo relieved to see that he was okay after the song. I had a horrible reminder of the time that Kame back flipped off of the stage years ago. I think may have been part of the reason Kame was so quick to get off the stage and help him, he even missed the costume change so everyone had to stall!

Date: 2010-07-25 08:54 am (UTC)and omg the falling off the stage thing...I had that at a golf/mike concert...they were singing and suddenly mike was just GONE...his brother finished the song but then ran over and was all "Holy crap what happened is he okay??" and for a few moments the concert just stopped... they re-aligned stuff too so golf had to do his solo first before after a while, mike could come out again...
~_~ god...
or kame -backflipping- off the stage... ugh... *pushes away bad thoughts*
hope you have lots of fun today as well!!
