These are just some notes about last night's concert. I was mostly watching Kitayama, so just warning you now. These are just notes and not a report and really incomplete 'cause I don't have time right now to finish them. But if you're interested, feel free to have a look.
- Juniors coming out to hand out balloons right before the show.
o They were circles and stars, but had kisumai colors
- Stage… Woah.
- Do not like stage seats. I hope they fix
- MC… they need to figure something out. They can’t do it in the center (the center seats don’t face that way) and the main is weird.
- FLOW. There really was none. I’m sure they’ll fix it.
- Fire Beat in INORI COSTUMES. THE BEST THING EVER~~~!!!
o Nika shrugged off the right sleeve too right before he did his backflip (not a no-hands one though… the costume is probably too heavy for that)
o Mitsu shrugged his off when they broke off from the center stage.
- Miyagee – “If you went to an amusement part with the girl that you like, what would you say at the end of the day?”
- Letter reading thing.
o Mitsu is CUTE. All his reactions to everything were so cute.
o There were 2 juniors with them. The one with Mitsu can roller skate. Kid joined 3 weeks ago, so Tama was like, “So that would mean that your first concert is Kisumai?” and Mitsu was SO happy.
o Tamamori couldn’t remember the name of his junior, Tanimura.
o Hasshi’s letter was especially for Miyata and then went to advertise May’s ABC-Z events. Nakamaru’s was to congratulate them on their concerts. The other letters were on white hearts, but theirs was on bigger blue hearts.
- MITSU. ZAMBARA. LOVE!
- Brand New Season. I cried.
- Miyata came up with the choreography for Kisumai Land? Maybe? He told this story about how he went to a Kinki Kids concert when he was little and that it’s something that he treasures. Overall, they made this concert with that in mind and they want the audience to remember this concert. The choreography is cute and fun and I don’t know anyone else who’s done something like it. Although… and this has nothing to do with the choreography… the middle portion of the song is REALLY strange. With the lighting that they used and all that, I might even say “creepy”.
- SKIT = WEIRD
o I guess Taipi was leading this section? But they brought this large coffin thing onto the stage and everyone except for Taipi wore black capes and hoods. As each one tried to attack Taipi, he’d push them at the coffin. I don’t remember the order, but Nika was one of the first. Then Tama or Senga, but when Senga went in, he didn’t get pushed in. He kinda just ran in and Nika stuck his head out and was like, “Why did you come here on your own?” and Senga said, “Because I love you.” To which Nika responded, “I love you too.” And I think it was Senga who said that he wants to be one with Nika. Then Miyata said something about “BL” and the rest of them were like, “Miyata… do you know that that means ‘Boys Love’?”
o Mitsu airplane. CUTE.
o Coffin thing failure.
o Mitsu riding in on a white horse (well, cart)… they should borrow the carousel horses from Tegomass.
- When they were about to start the accent dance at the beginning of the Army Land section, Miyata tripped coming down from the main stage to the center stage. Very slight, but I just happened to be looking at him when he did it. ^^;
- For the sempai medley, it was like they were allowed to choose any of their Kisumai costumes that they wanted. Tama-chan chose the yellow Kaizoku one the gold sparkly suit from the opening of the EbiKisu concert but with the yellow skate mike, Senga was in the track suit, Mitsu was in the yellow Kaizoku outfit plus crazy glasses, Yokoo looked like he was wearing the same outfit he wore during the Jr. Colloseum he did Honey Beat in, Taipi wore the Kis-My-Me-Mine outfit (the black, gold, and red ones) which I haven’t seen in FOREVER… Nika was wearing the jacked from the blue outfits. Miyata was wearing the red, white, and blue one.
- Tama tied his hair back for Inori/Fire Beat.
- What song was that where they were up on the bridge and did that jump over, duck under thing? Cause that was the best I’ve ever seen of that trick. Usually it looks dumb. Paradise Ginka maybe?
- New skating tricks in Shooting Star. Couldn’t really see.
- MC
o I don’t feel like there really was an MC… it was really short.
o They started on the center stage, which is a problem because the center seats don’t face inward like last time. We were sorta sitting seiza on the seats. It wasn’t fun.
o Mitsu complained that even Miyata’s fingers sweat, and Miyata looked at his hands and was like, NOT. But I guess right before he touched Mitsu in the skit thing, he pushed his bangs back first and then touched him. Miyata re-did the action and was like, “Wow! There’s a lot of sweat on my fingers now!” Oh Miyacchi…
o They were like, “These concerts came so soon after the last ones… I bet everyone’s like, ‘These guys AGAIN?’” I think Taipi said that.
o They talked about the stage set-up a little, but nothing in particular. Didn’t sound like they had much to do with the stage design.
o They brought up this story about how they were looking/watching something about the American President. Apparently Taipi looked at Nika and was like, "Nika, do you know who that is?" and Nika was like, "Ohama. *duh*" ... ...... Oh Nika. I seriously dropped my face into my hand and shook my head.
o There was a guy sitting in one of the stage seats and when they asked whose fan he was, he said Miyata. Miyata was REALLY happy. He ran over and asked what part about him that he likes and the guy said that Miyata was funny. And then I think Miyata was trying to say that he’ll do his best to be funny today too, but he didn’t think it all the way through and it came out funny. Mitsu
- Ok. Like, seriously. They gave TOO MUCH attention to the stage seats. I mean, it’s great an all for those fans, but what are the rest of the thousands of people in the audience supposed to do? They need to find a different method for killing time while the other members are changing clothes.
- Mitsu’s mike in Kimi Dake ni was like the SAME height as him and he couldn’t make it shorter in time. It was cute/funny. He brought it up during the MC.
- Tama-chan splits on the small ramp.
- Tama-chan gave Miyata his feather headdress towards the end.
Again. These are incomplete. Sorry.
