Go Hiromi's rather attractive for a 55 year old

Since I'm not really doing anything until lunch... I saw this on [livejournal.com profile] kaoru_yubiwa 's journal.  In case you guys wanna do it too

Your view on yourself:
Other people find you very interesting, but you are really hiding your true self. Your friends love you because you are a good listener. They'll probably still love you if you learn to be yourself with them.
Hmm... I can't really say that I agree with this.  Yeah, it takes a while for people to get to know me since I am kinda quiet around people I don't know, but I feel like my close friends see me for me on a regular basis.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.
I suppose deep down I might be... just not in public.  Easily embarrassed.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.
Probably true.  Commitment doesn't scare me and if I think it's the right person...  Oh.  And I'm assuming they meant "as soon as you MEET that person."

The seriousness of your love:
You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?
Don't agree with this at all.  Me, flirty and seductive?  HAH.

Your views on education
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.
True.  Education matters a lot to me.

The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.
Sounds good.  Now if only I could figure out what I want to do...

How do you view success:
Success in your career is not the most important thing in life. You are content with what you have and think that being with someone you love is more than spending all of your precious time just working.
Agreed.  A career is important, but work is not my life.

What are you most afraid of:
You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.
Uh... Hmm...  I suppose I do care a lot about how others view me, although I don't think it's as materialistic as this assessment makes it sound.

Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.
'Mature?'  I suppose, 'Reasonable?'  I would have said 'logical'.  'Honest?'  Yeah... I'm really bad at lying.  Terrible poker face.  'Give good advice?'  I don't know about that.  You'd have to ask someone else.

Well that was interesting.  I don't do personality tests often, but I always like reading through the results.

Other than that, I'm back in Japan and am currently sitting on [livejournal.com profile] snowqueenofhoth 's spare futon.  I miss home already.  This was the first time in seven years that I didn't want to leave.  I've always been excited to go back to Seattle or come back to Japan, but this time?  I stood in the airport after my family dropped me off and cried.  It's not that I didn't want to come back to Japan, because I love Japan a lot.  I just didn't want to leave.

Granted, should I move back home, I have no idea what kind of work I'd do.  I know my mom would want me to be a teacher, especially since that's what I would continue to do if I stayed in Japan, but I can't imagine myself teaching in Hawaii.  Quite honestly, I'd be totally okay doing secretarial work or anything like the stuff I did when I was working for that small bookstore in Seattle.

I don't really know where I was going with this since I'm not leaving Japan any time soon, but I guess I was just reminded how much I love being home.  I wish I could go home more than once a year.

I wish I could live in multiple places at once. Or at least have the places and people I love all be within a few hours of each other.

That would be really nice.

^ was that you who messaged me about 7:30 crepes? cause I thought it was a prank...7:30 AM...I don't get up that early for regular weekend breakfast...I totally agree with you about the job situation, just a quiet secure job with steady income would be okay with me, nothing earth shattering >.> Guess that's why it's so hard to find what I really want to do? *sigh* See you in a year I guess XD

Well, I had to leave the house for the airport at 9am. I knew you wouldn't get up, but ah well.

A year? You're supposed to visit me!

its always interesting to read people's thoughts on their results!! i hope you can figure out what kind of job you'll do in the future, one that will be satisfying and enjoyable for you. as they always say, things will often just fall into place.

i bet if i lived where you're from, i'd not want to leave too. at least kisumai is waiting for you in Japan though... :)
